About My Treatments

As you can see, we offer a wide variety of treatments and services here at Cassandra Jade's. Some of the services you may not even know of. That's why we created this page, to give you the more 'google' definition of what the treatments are.

Eyelash Extensions: a cosmetic procedure attaching semi-permanent fibers using a safe glue to your natural lashes to make them appear longer, thicker, fuller and darker.

They are available in a high quality selection in various lengths, thicknesses and curvatures and all these are chosen professionally depending on your eye shape, natural lash length and health as well as your own request.

Lash Lift: an all natural semi-permanent procedure that gives the natual lashes a boost from the root, lifting them and giving your lashes a longer more visible look without the use of any leave on chemicals or extensions.

Brow Lamination: a relatively new procedure for those that have unruly or curly eyebrows that focuses on taming your eyebrows giving them a shiny smooth brow look. Sometimes also called an "eyebrow perm". Does not involve needles or anything or the king.

Laser Hair Removal: a cosmetic procedure that uses a specific type of laser, called a diode laser, to target and destroy hair follicles by delivering concentrated light energy, resulting in long-term reduction of unwanted hair growth with minimal discomfort and the ability to treat a wide range of skin tones; it works by selectively heating the melanin within the hair follicle, effectively damaging it and preventing future hair growth.

Laser Tattoo Removal: a minimally invasive treatment that uses ultra-short laser pulses to break down tattoo ink. Traditional nanosecond lasers predominately rely on photothermal action, delivering heat to the pigment and surrounding tissue. Picosecond lasers take advantage of PressureWave Technology to shatter the target ink into tiny particles that are easily eliminated by the body which also causes little to no scarring or damage to tissue.

Spray Tans: a beauty treatment in which the body is sprayed with a product containing chemicals that react with the skin to produce an artificial suntan. Caribbean Tan uses products and aims to provide a natural-looking, streak-free tan without the harmful effects of UV rays. The brand emphasizes a long-lasting, even tan through the use of ingredients like DHA (dihydroxyacetone) and erythrulose, along with skin conditioning agents like Aloe Ferox.

Lipolysis Fat Loss Injections: a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves injecting substances into targeted areas of the body to break down and eliminate localized fat deposits. These injections are not a method for weight loss but rather for body contouring by reducing stubborn fat pockets that are resistant to diet and exercise.

Gel Nails: a type of nail polish that is cured with a UV/LED nail lamp to create a shiny, longer lasting manicure. Rubber base and Art can also be added to these sets.

Rubber base is perfect for clients with weak nails that wish to have stronger nails. Nails can also be sculptured using this Rubber base Gel.

What is Sculptured nail set?

This is a set that uses the product to create a nail extension, thereby increasing their length without the addition of a plastic tip. This is healthier for your nails as filing is kept to a minimum and no soak off is needed once the extension grows out.

Silk Repairs: a type of reinforcement when your nail is broken, chipped or in compromised condition. It adds strength and acts as a plaster to keep the nail together.

Dermaplaning Facial: a minimally invasive cosmetic facial that uses a blade to shave away the uppermost layers of the skin as well as any peach fuzz, dirt, even some black heads and pimples. Also known as a "manual exfoliation".

Facials: a facial involves cleansing, toning, exfoliating, massaging and rehydrating the skin to look after any skin type.

Chemical Peels: a facial that involves applying a chemical to the skin to create a controlled burn to allow the skin to peel. The peel improves and smooths the texture of the skin. It is intended for the outermost layers of the skin to reduce fine lines, uneven skin pigmentation, make skin smoother and softer, can get rid of low level acne.

Microneedling: also known as collagen induction therapy, or skin needling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles to regenerate the skin and force it to heal and produce more collagen and elastin. It works for scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, reduces size of large pores, tightens skin, helps even your skin tone or get rid of any skin hyperpigmentation.

Threading: a method of hair removal in which unwanted hairs are plucked out of the skin by using a twisted cotton thread.

Waxing: a method of hair removal in which a sugary paste is applied and a strip is used to stick to and pull out the hairs. This is also a form of light exfoliation as it removes the top layer of dead skin allowing for silky smooth hairless skin.

6D Microblading: an advanced semi-permanent eyebrow drawing that is created using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the outer layer of skin called the epidermis. The fine blade creates strokes that appear like hairs making your eyebrows appear natural and fuller.

Permanent Makeup: a cosmetic technique that employs tattoos as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup such as eyeliner and lip liner/blush.

Piercings: the practice of creating a small hole in a part of the body, typically the ears/nose, to insert a ring, stud or other piece of jewellery for decorative, religious, cultural purposes.

Tattoos: a mark, figure, design or word intentionally fixed or placed into the skin by using a needle to insert ink into the layers of the skin. This creates art on a person's body that can be worn for the rest of their lives.
